The First Baptist Church in America is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of Rhode Island (ABCORI), the American Baptist Churches/USA (ABCUSA) and the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists (AWAB).
Locally, the church actively supports the Rhode Island State Council of Churches, Better Lives Rhode Island, and Crossroads Rhode Island.
Nationally and internationally, we support the National Council of Churches, the World Baptist Alliance, the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, and the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America.
We travel with other churches from New England to LaRomana, Dominican Republic regularly to provide medical clinics and continue work on Hospital El Buen Samaritano for Haitian cane cutters and their families
