One Great Summer of Sharing

What you share is yours, what you hide is lost.

There will be many opportunities for you to share your gifts and talents this summer. Please consider:

  • Share financial resources to send refugee/immigrant youth to Camp Canonicus for a week this summer. The flipflop campaign is on. $10 will pay for a week’s worth of snacks; $20 will pay for lunch for the week; $46 will pay for one day of day camp; $70 will pay for one day of resident camp; $230 will pay for a week of day camp; and $350 will pay for a week of resident camp. Donations in all amounts are welcome. The value of spending a week at camp is priceless.

  • Share used clothing through our Savers Fundraiser. Bring your used clothes in plastic bags to church by June 10. If you need help transporting, please email annmarie.fbc@gmail.com.

  • Share transportation to get kids to camp and to the bus.

  • Share your gift of pie making or serving, at our Pies for Puerto Rico event on June 30. Bring your picnic to enjoy on the lawn at 6 pm. Bring your pies to sell by the slice to the Waterfire attendees. When we run out of pie, enjoy waterfire. We will need pie makers, sellers, set-up and break-down and more. Sign up in Fellowship Hall. All proceeds will provide assistance to those in Puerto Rico impacted by Hurricane Maria.

  • Share your gift of music. Talk to Steve about providing special music during the summer.

  • Share your gift of public speaking. Let Holly know that you are available to be the Worship Leader on Sunday morning.

  • Share a meal on Wednesday, June 6 at Garden of Eve (405 Harris Ave., Providence) at 5:30.
